A children’s Christmas colouring competition has been organised by Pendle Rise Shopping Centre in Nelson, which is also running free craft workshops on Saturdays.
Pendle Rise, at the heart of Nelson’s shopping centre, is running the free Children’s Craft Workshops every Saturday from 10am to 4pm up to Christmas. They include making a unique Christmas bauble and a snowman decoration, and how to decorate your Christmas stocking. There is also free face painting from 11am to 3pm.
As well as the craft workshops, children up to 11 can enter a free colouring competition, with a chance of winning £20 in vouchers to spend at the Wilko store in Pendle Rise. There are two age groups – up to seven and eight to 11 – with 10,000 entry forms being sent out to all primary schools in and around Nelson.
The entry forms, which include the fun festive picture to be coloured in, are also available from Pendle Rise and other Nelson town centre shops. Completed forms should be posted in the competition box at the Customer Service desk in the Wilko store at Pendle Rise.
The competition closes on Wednesday December 30th and the winners will be chosen the following day.
